Draft document

Privacy

This is a draft policy for our private beta. We'll publish a final version before Hoppy TRM opens to the public, and we'll tell early access members when it changes.

What we collect

If you join the early access list, we store the email address you give us, plus the taproom name and tap count if you choose to share them. That's it. We don't ask for a phone number, an address, or payment details, because there's nothing to pay for yet.

Why we collect it

Your email is how we'll tell you when early access opens. The taproom name and tap count help us understand the size of room Hoppy TRM needs to fit. A four-tap neighbourhood bar and a thirty-tap hall have different problems, and we'd rather know before we build.

What we won't do

We won't sell your details, rent them out, or add you to a marketing list for something else. We'll only email you about Hoppy TRM. Every email we send will have a working unsubscribe link, and asking us to remove you is enough. You don't need to explain.

Where it lives

Waitlist submissions are stored in our managed database with access limited to the people working on Hoppy TRM. Nothing you submit is readable from this website once it's saved.

Cookies and analytics

This marketing site doesn't set advertising cookies and doesn't run third-party ad trackers. If we add basic, privacy-respecting traffic measurement, this section will say so plainly before it goes live.

Your data in the app

The Hoppy TRM application itself, with the taproom data, containers, taps and orders, is covered by a separate agreement that early access taprooms will receive directly. This page covers the marketing site and the waitlist only.

Getting in touch

To see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you, reply to any email we've sent you and ask. We'll confirm once it's done.

This is placeholder wording written in good faith for our private beta. It isn't legal advice, and it will be replaced by a reviewed version before public launch.
